Caroline Fluri was born in Langenthal, Switzerland and developed an interest for design and architecture early on in her life. Starting at a very young age, she spent time going around architectural buildings and sites with her grandfather, who was a well known sculpture and artist. He exposed her to the art of clean lines and restraint in design, which is visible in her work now. Her design philosophy is one of understated warmth, elegance, functionality within a sculptural space. Having been raised in an environmentally conscious country, awareness of the fragility of our environment is of second nature to her.

After completing a business management degree in Switzerland, Caroline was involved with textile design and fashion design. At the age of 21 Caroline moved to California, where she attended the Interior and Environment Design Program at UCLA. She is a certified interior and environmental designer in the State of California. Her career as a design professional spans over twenty years of working in architect and design offices. During her career, she was involved in design for major commercial buildings, building remodels and upgrades, corporate offices, retail banks, stores, as well as hospitality and residential projects.

In 2004, she started her firm Caroline Fluri Design Associates, LLC, specializing in commercial and institutional interior design. With offices based out of Los Angeles and Orange County, she serves the entire Southern California Region. Working across all disciplines, Caroline will draw from the best practices of all team members, and collaborators to perform at a high level and provide solutions quickly and creatively. In these challenging and rapidly changing times, Caroline is looking beyond conventions, to provide outstanding design and value to her clients.

When Caroline isn't busy working on a deadline, she enjoys spending time with her two sons Adrian (13) and Benjamin (10) who are both the love of her life. Besides being super-mom, she enjoys the company of her friends, is a passionate equestrian and skier. Caroline has travelled thru-out the world and enjoys visiting and studying important architectural and historical sites. She is also fluent in German and French.
